QUESTION:
what is the best fitness machine for home?
i want to buy something to do some cardio at home.what is best? a elliptical, bike, or something else??
and where can i get one that is not too expensive?-
ANSWER:
the best work out equipment to date are these things that have been around for years, but everyone seems to have forgotten about them, they are the best, ive tried ab rollers, ab loungers, treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines and these are just the best, and its so weird because its the cheapest too- heres what you need - a good pair of running shoes to go for a run or walk around your neighborhood everyday, some big cans of beans or vegetables to weight lift with, a nice flat floor area to do some situps, push ups, lunges etc, a jump rope or maybe just a stereo to dance to the music, and of course good ol' water...

QUESTION:
what is the best home fitness machine to get,an excercise bike, rowing machine, or cross trainer???
just to get fit and tone up-
ANSWER:
i would say cross trainer or a rowing machiene. I found that the rowing machiene got quite boring and it was an effort for me to do it but i haven't got bored of the cross trainer yet and it tones your legs and increases your fitness and doesn't mess with your joints like a treadmill.

QUESTION:
Which home fitness machine gives the best overall workout?
I've realised I don't have room for a treadmill which was my first choice, so I'm looking for something a bit more compact like a cross trainer or an exercise bike. Would like to increase aerobic fitness mainly, but also tone up and become leaner and fitter. I'm not overweight (5'4" and weigh 49kg) and fairly active (fast walk about 4-5 miles a day). What do you think would be best?-
ANSWER:
the best thing is a skipping rope,

QUESTION:
What kind of at-home fitness machine has worked best for you?
I asked which is better gym or at home but forgot to ask which machine the at home users liked the most-
ANSWER:
I don't like gyms...even if they were free, I would not go there. Everybody's sweating in the same room and I cannot really be comfortable in front of strangers, sweating as well.
Gyms are only good if you're very strong and need a lot of heavy, expensive different machines or you need to be part of a class to get the motivation from a group (I do fine by myself).
I'm just an average woman so all I need is a good neighborhood, a stationary bicycle and some weights (and also my thigh master and my abs bar and my push-up handles…I have very thin wrists)...and a big sturdy piano bench I use as a weight bench.
At home, I do not have to drive there and I can do my abs in my underwear...
On my cardio days, I use an old DP Air Gometer, which is a stationary bicycle with upper body exercise.
It's bulky and noisy but I get the best cardio workout on it, watching TV full blast...cardios plus lower and upper body workout.
(I have a five day routine that I just repeat...walk, cardio, walk, rest, weights, walk, cardio, walk, rest, weights)

ANSWER:
I dont like to go gym so I have to workout at home. So I made a research for best program and find Truth About Abs. It works perfectly. Best part of it is that it includes both abs exercises, fullbody exercises and supporting eating plan. It is very useful and helpful. You should buy treadmill ( it is the best of course) and with it you should use this program because treadmill wont be enough. It is cheap so you dont have to pay much. You should reat the article about it from http://www.diettipsandfitness.com for details and decide what to do. I wish I can help you! good luck:)

QUESTION:
What home fitness equipment offers the best results?
I want to purchase a single piece of workout equipment that offers aerobic activity but will also tone muscle. I want to burn fat and calories and tone my muscles without bulking up.I have been running on a treadmill in our apartment complex gym, and love the results. But I was wondering if something like an elliptical machine would offer the same results or better without the wear and tear on my body caused by running?
-
ANSWER:
All you need are dumbbells. Use light dumbbells to make the treadmill harder. You can also do high intensity interval training like that. Then with heavier dumbbells you can do a full body basic weight lifting routine a couple times a week to tone your muscles. Don't worry, you can't bulk up without steroids. You will gain some muscle, but you won't look big at all. It will also help you gain bone density and keep your joints healthy. This will help you avoid osteoperosis and stiff joints when you get older.I do like elipticals. I do my intervals on those. You just switch between a high and low setting. Why not get get both. Adjustable dumbbells are cheap anyway.

QUESTION:
What part of the day is the best time to exercise?
I have an imobile/home bike or whatever they are called (http://www.chinawholesalegift.com/pic/Health-Gifts/Fitness-Machine/Home-Bike-(Magnetic-System)-20324653706.jpg) and I was wondering when it would be the best time to do a long workout -
a) morning, before school
b) late afternoon, after school
c) evening, after dinner
When do you burn the most? Or does it matter? Thank you-
ANSWER:
If your a morning person go with before school but after a bit to eat for energy. Your metabolism will get a kick start, you become more alert for the day, its also been shown that people who start the day eating right or exercising have a better change to continue a health conscience day.If your not a morning person, aim for after dinner but not too late. Some people hate morning times, or their schedules just aren't conducive to morning workouts. If you are going to workout at night, you should try to do so by 7ish pm and you can't let it drag on too late. You need time to get a little carbs and protein (keyword is little) into your body so it doesn't brake down muscle while you sleep. You also need time to let your body relax so you can get GOOD sleep.

QUESTION:
What is the best elastic fitness band?
I've been looking at various elastic fitness band products and need a home exercise gym for getting stronger and losing weight. I want to tone my torso and to build bigger biceps. I heard from my trainer that elastic resistance bands are an awesome tool and a super value compared to some of workout machines that can cost thousands of dollars.-
ANSWER:
There's multiple fitness band companies and I've tried several options. The one I think is best was recommended by Matt Furey and is a very high quality product that is also very affordable starting at under for the basic set of bands. What's great about these bands is you can start with the basic set and order additional bands as you increase in strenght or desire to add new variety of exercises. The progress ive made with my set of bands also has been incredible. I got into them thinking it was mainly good for rehabbing my shoulder from a backyard football injury but when I started training with them I realized I could use them for a complete body workout. Terrell Owens works out with them and that guy has one of the best physiques on the planet.
Ive reduced my body fat from 14 to 7%, increased my bench press max by 60 lbs. and shredded my torso and arms. My girlfriend used them to work out her legs and calves and she is looking sexier than ever.
However, the best part of my bodylastic bands has to be the flexibility to take them everywhere and anywhere. I am a consultant and consistently traveling so its awesome to be able to tuck them into my carry-on luggage and have access to a full gym no matter where I am. Good luck and Be Well

QUESTION:
What is the best in-home gym equipment (machine) to get rid fat and loose skin around the stomach and thighs?
I lost heaps of weight a while ago, and now have heaps of loose skin around my stomach and thighs, and a bit on my arms. I have also recently put on a bit more weight in those areas and want to burn it off fast and tone up my body a bit. I DO NOT want to go to a gym, but instead want to do it in the comfort of my home. I am willing to buy any machines or fitness equipment I will need to do this (within reason).PLEASE HELP!!! I need my confidence back for summer and a new me!
thanks heaps!-
ANSWER:
Ahh! you just named all my old problem areas! I do have the perfect piece of workout equipment for stomach, thighs, and butt though. It's called "Leg Magic!" I've had mine for 2 years and LOVE it! (The website is below.) I don't know what the most your willing to spend is but this machine is very small and it's only 0.00! They even have an offer where you can try it for a month for like .00!For arms, get a 5 pound weight and hold it in one hand. Bring the arm with weight straight above your head. Have your other arm come around behind your head and let your hand grab right underneath your elbow. This gives your arm with the weight support. Bend arm with weight at elbow and then straighten it again. I do 20 presses slowly and then switch to other arm (having one arm still supporting the arm with the weight.) Then I go back to first arm and do 20 fast presses and then switch again. I do the routine twice so its: both arms slow, both arms fast, both arms slow, both arms fast.
Good luck! PLEASE try the Leg Magic. It's not a joke, believe me!

QUESTION:
What is the best fitness schedule for becoming muscular that is possible for a 14 year old?
i in my mid 14's, stocky body (good potential), have a gym membership, have a cardio machine and a few weights at home. just need to know what to do.i want to make my triceps and biceps bigger and stronger as they are just a long thin muscle at the moment and do not bulge much. i also want to make the muscles in my chest and stomach tenser and defined.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks In Advance-
ANSWER:
Tricep extensions/skull crushers
tricep kick backs]
tricep pushdowns
close hand pressups
tricep dipsbenchpress/pressups incline and decline if you cannot do benchpress put your feet on something higher for incline and decline do pressups on the end of a bench (hard to explain) and fly's
bicepcurls, preacher curls, zottman curls, 21s and barbell/e-z curl bar and the ones most people forget about HAMMER CURLS.
do 2-3 sets of tricep exercises
and 3-7 sets of bench and flies as the pecs are alot bigger than biceps and triceps
each exercise should be between 5-10 reps if youreally wanna go for it aim below 8 for the bench press.
after bench press, do pressups,
dont forget to work your shoulders with shoulder press, front raises and incline pressups
and your abs, with planks, crunches, situps, leg raises and mountain climbers(but do mountain climbers when your abs are really tired to feel the burn)
and your back, with pull ups, use the overhand wide grip pullups for the back, to get the v shape body. and barbell rowing and dumbell rows are good too
and chip ups (close hands and underhand grip) works the biceps too
good luck

QUESTION:
I have a flat stomach and now i want a six pack. What are the best exercises?
I don't have a lot of money so fitness centers or at home machines aren't an option. I know about crunches. Anybody know about anything else?-
ANSWER:
Gee, there are some weird answers posted here for this one. lol
To work your abdominals, you need to do crunches, and variations of it. Start with 3 sets of as many crunches as you can do, which should be between 10-30, I'm guessing. Do this for the first week, then build up to adding extra exercises such as knee tucks off the end of a bench (http://www.netfit.co.uk/assets/004s.jpg), and even adding weight to your crunches, by holding a heavy book, or a small weight disc (up to 5kgs). This will allow you to build you abs to a degree that you can see the addominal muscles under your skin, hence, a '6 pack'.
Make sure you are not eating much sugary and fatty foods, as this will just add body fat, which is the covering over your abs. Minimal bodyfat means a defined stomach.
Do some cardio work, too, to help you tone up a little more. Anything like running for 2-30 mins, 2-3 times a week, will help a lot to achieving a 6-pack even faster.
It wont take long, within a few weeks, you should start to notice some results

QUESTION:
How can I do a "makeover" to my health habits and lifestyle? (Nutrition, fitness specialists help appreciated)
What I mean, I do feel a little guilty about my bad dietary habits and some other things I'll mention. If you have any good suggestions and a good background about nutrition, fitness, and/or pyschology, please give me advice: (I'm a 22-year old male)-My diet: I'm 6ft 1 tall, 78 kgs. Although my weight seems good to my height, but I'm guilty of eating a lot of fast food, chocolate, and soda drinks. I want to know what amounts & types of food should I concentrate on eating? Especially that I want to start working out, and gain abs. (Please notice that I avoid all alcoholic drinks and pork). And is it necessary to completely stop chocolate consumption? (I love this thing!)
-My fitness: I bought a home gym machine that has the following:
-Biceps and triceps exercises, legs , shoulder, chest and back. How often and long sholud I work out? And what is the best exercise for my stomach & gluteal region?-My sleeping habits: I tend to sleep very late and wake up very late (I sleep at 7 am and wake up at 2-3 pm), which really affected my college life. Although I don’t drink large amounts of caffeine. I used to sleep at 1-2 am, but now I can’t, I think I ruined my biological clock. What things can I do to sleep at a reasonable time, and enjoy a good, deep sleep?
P.S: This started only lately, although I have nothing “psychological” that could cause it.My mentality: How can I increase the power and pace of my memory? Especially the short-term one?

QUESTION:
Home Fitness?
Is it good enough to substitute the gym( the machines and weights, that is)Anyone know what is the best excercise for pectorals, biceps and improving vertical jump?
I googled and seen a lot of junk
Also I wonder if I have to keep excercising my jumps like every week or day so I can jump high for a long time-
ANSWER:
The best exercise you can do at home for Pecs are Press ups. You can vary your position so that you work different areas of the Pectoral Muscle i.e. Normal press up would mainly work mid pecs, where as trying press ups with your feet placed on a chair would mainly work the upper Pec. You can also vary your hand position and the way in which you perform the exercise, i.e. Hands placed closer together would incorporate your triceps more than if you place your hands shoulder width apart. You can also try lowering yourself slowly and then pushing up as hard and fast as you can, this works the fast twitch fibres and the slow twitch fibres that make up your muscles.
For improving vertical jumps you might want to try placing your feet shoulder width apart squatting down so that your thighs are parallel with the floor and then jumping up with as much force as you can. Repeat this for 10-12 reps and about 3-4 sets.

QUESTION:
What do you do if you max out on fixed weight machines?
We've got the whole range, from head to toe, at AJIMA health and fitness - home of Seloundo.
Master Marie is the best teacher I have ever come across in my experience of martial art.The gym equipment's quite old, but it's solid and reliable.
Today I lifted the maximum on everything (I think that's why I can't sleep...) - from 20kg on wrists to 95kg on quads and 125kg on deadlifts, think it's 65 or 70kg on bench and the same on the vertical and lateral rows.
(I've sort of stopped paying attention since I just stick the pin at the bottom...)There's no way I can fit enough of the free weights onto the bars to do those exercises...
Even if I could, I don't think I could do it safely...I'm just over 5'8" and just over 11st.
(sorry for the mixed measures - I'm sure you can find a converter on google...)What should I do now?
Just carry on increasing fast/slow reps and sets?
Focus on technique speed and finesse?
Do something new?I do plyometric exercises and stretches to compliment.
If you do look up the Seloundo website, please bear in mind that I did the front page, which links to the *ahem* other website (which I didn't do... NFO.7 isn't my thing...) - I'm in the process of making a new one...We'll have it up and running soon.
I have to do the running.
I enjoy it.
Cycling's more fun, I've found - overtaking the £100k cars going at 20mph in the City on a 600 quid bike really annoys them. You reckon just carry on increasing reps and sets and focus on technique for a bit?
Sounds like a plan...-
ANSWER:
I'd just work with what you got, and increase how many times you lift, and form, and do normal speed reps. After about a month or two, work on speed and fitness, and then after that do something new. You cannot get much more out of the optionjs after taht. You'll end up holding yourself back if you cannot get to better equipment, or atleast add something a more challenge to yourself..I'd suggest adding soem form of mega cardio (i.e. 10k running too)

What is a good cardio (bike, elliptical, treadmill, etc.) workout regimen for beginners?
I have access to a fitness center. While it is not consistent access, it will be available in our vacation home development. I would like to utilize it as best as possible. Which machines should I use? How long should I use any one machine? I hope this question is making sense. LOL
If three 30-minute cardio sessions are necessary for good results, should I split the 30 minutes between 2 or 3 machines (elliptical, treadmill, stairmaster, etc.)?-

QUESTION:
What is the best elliptical for me to buy for the new year 2008?
One of my fitness goals is to get into better shape (generally speaking) with one of these fabulous machines. Is this realistic and achievable?Features I want to optimize for me include: 20 inch stride, 300 lbs. + user capacity, for at home use, would like it to be 'commerical grade' (preferable) but not necessarily, affordable (at the lowest possible price) -- under 0 (preferably), durable (built well), long lasting (high quality), with a Cardio Program (that reads heart rate), sturdy (wont tip over easily), and new (not refurbished).
-
ANSWER:
Its going to be hard to find a good, quality, new elliptical for under 0. In that price range you should consider looking at the Horizon or Eclipse line of elliptical. If you're willing to spend a couple more hundred dollars, I would recommend looking at Spirit. For under a 00 you can get an excellent Spirit Elliptical that is going to have a significantly better warranty.I would recommend you check out http://whenrunninginplace.com, it is a Treadmill and Elliptical Site that takes all the online reviews for Treadmills and Ellipticals, combines them on their site and comes up with their own average rating. You can also see side by side comparisons, and the current pricing for the Horizon, Eclipse and Spirit Ellipticals I was talking about.

QUESTION:
Which is better, a rowing machine or cross trainer?
I'm looking to buy some home gym equipment, but unfortunately have no knowledge of fitness haha, i am getting either one of these, but which one do you think is best?
I want to tone my arms, slim my legs down, and lose weight overall. Which would help me the most?
Oh and also, could anyone recommend somewhere where i could buy one!Thank you : )
-
ANSWER:
CuriosityKilledTheCat,A ROWER is definitely a great piece of exercise equipment to meet and exceed your needs. They are inexpensive compared to other fitness equipment, but will be able to help you tone your arms, legs and overall weight loss.
Indoor rowing primarily works the cardiovascular systems and stresses many muscle groups throughout the body anaerobically, thus rowing is often referred to as a strength-endurance sport.
You have been warned, indoor rowing is an addictive and fun exercise!
You can view all the most popular rowers on the market at GYMSTORE.COM (full link below). They have a large selection of cardio equipment that you can browse as well.
P.S. Another cost effective alternative are indoor cycle bikes, also know as spinning bikes - which are also found at the same website.

Hey guys i have a goal that i want to lose weight and tone up but im not very good at controlling what i eat so if anyone has any info on what a good snack would be to fill me up rather than me eating junk food!

so if anyone can help me out here then thank you so much =D-
ANSWER:
The first and most obvious step in losing weight and keeping it off is to change the way in which you eat. But even before taking that step the best thing you can do is to decide how much weight you want to lose and then concentrate on how to achieve that goal. ANSWER:
Firstly, there is a huge difference between 160 and 180 lbs especially at your height.I'm 5 11 at 183 and some days have four or six showing (pretty lean and heavy). I believe you have some cardio to do to losing yourr body fat. I'm sure you're aware of your BMI - we won't go there.
How to get a six pack?
You need to lose some weight and reduce your body fat.
Increase your lean mass - to show abs you must have muscles (there are many skinny kids out there without abs)Cardio gets you lean and weight training gets big muscles. Do some amount of both.
If you love pizza, pork or ice cream forget it. At your age, go outside and play, ask again in 3 years.

QUESTION:
B&A: Another Excerpt, Feedback Please?
One of the few contemporary romance things I've written. I got pretty far with this story but didn't finish it. Just looking for insight into my writing and writing style, so posting a lot today.***
“One, two…come on, Chloe!”
Sweat dripped down her face as she reluctantly held up her clothes. Whoever had said acting was just an art was sorely mistaken, she thought miserably. Her trainer, a perky blonde with short and spiky hair, bounced on her heels as she urged Chloe on. Pausing a moment to an escaped curl out of her eyes, she resumed the punching bag exercises.
Imagining herself punching Barrett’s face, instead of the battered leather, helped get her through the rest of the exercises.
“Great job!” said the personal trainer. Yeah right, thought Chloe. The girl didn’t look as if she’d ever had an extra ounce of fat in her life. “Twenty minute cool down on the treadmill, then I’ll see you next week.”
She unzipped her hoodie and peeled it off, debating the wisdom of informing the personal trainer that she could see her in hell for all she was concerned. And then she groaned as she spotted him, running at full speed next to the last available treadmill. And until that moment she’d been grateful for free use of the network fitness center.
He had a pair of headphones firmly covering his ears, and Chloe hoped as she made her way over to the machines that he’d remain ignorant of her presence. No such luck. As she approached, doing her best to casually ignore him and press the buttons to turn the damn thing on, Barrett pulled the headphones off.
“You looked good out there. But then again, I already knew you could throw a mean punch.”
Yeah, thought Chloe, and wouldn’t I love to throw another one your way.
Instead she shrugged, hoping he’d take the hint and leave her to her miserable jog in peace. But then again, he wasn’t the sort of man who took hints.
“I should take you into the ring sometime,” he said. He dialed down the speed on the treadmill so he was jogging. Chloe glanced at him in the mirror that stretched across the front of the gym. And damn it if he wasn’t as deliciously handsome in sweats and a white T-shirt as he was on screen. He wasn’t overly muscular, she noted. Not that she hadn’t seen his chest before.
To her surprise she noticed a tattoo planted squarely on his upper bicep. Now that was new, she mused. “You have a Celtic Cross,” she said, surprising herself. She must have surprised Barrett too. He met her eyes in the mirror and grinned.
“Irish heritage,” he said. “I got it when I first came to LA. They cover it up on the show. Tony’s Italian.”
Just wait until her mother heard about this thought Chloe, before chiding herself. The last thing she wanted to do was rush home and gossip about her co-star.
She finished her workout with determined silence, although she was unable to help glancing at Barrett through the safety of the mirror. If it hadn’t been for what he’s said to her that first day she might have been able to get past his ego, if only to see if a night in bed with him could live up to her teenage fantasies. But the idea that everybody on the set of Harper’s Vale was just waiting for her to fall in bed with him set her on edge.
It was determination that had brought her to Los Angeles only a week after graduating from college, with nothing more than a diploma, five-hundred dollars cash and the headshots her mother had given her as a graduation present. In four years she’d been a waitress, a telemarketer and for one very brief and humiliating period an assistant for a terrible magician’s stage show.
Until a year before the only acting credit she’d had to her name had been a series of commercials for Morning Cup coffee, a corpse on a popular crime show, and a series of easily forgotten roles in just as easily-forgotten plays.
Snagging the role of Ophelia had, at the time, been the most exciting thing that had ever happened to her. Until a few months after that, when her agent called her with the news that Alexandra Winsor had called her in for a meeting.
She had shown up in her only pair of designer shoes, with her knock-off bag held close enough to her that nobody could see the label, doing her best to fit the role of a soap opera vixen. With that, and a good deal of charm, and every ounce of sex appeal that nature had given her, she’d landed the role. Then had begun the arduous process of deconstructing Chloe to create Rebecca.
Nothing in her life had been more painful, or rewarding, than watching as her new character developed of the course of the past week. But she had done it. And she didn’t intend to let some spur-of-the-moment affair destroy what she had worked so hard to create.
The timer beeped that her twenty minutes were up. Chloe powered down. Next to her, Barrett did the same, gliding off the machine and falling in step beside her as they walked toward the changing rooms. “How about a smoothie?” he
Chloe groaned. He was killing her. “I can buy my own, thanks,” he said.Barrett shrugged. “Suit yourself. But I’m having one anyway. Might as well get one for free.”
She narrowed her eyes. He had a point. She showered quickly, bundling her hair up on top of her head and pulling on a pair of jeans and a new T-shirt, this time proclaiming her desire for Peace On Earth. When she left the room and found her way to the smoothie bar he was waiting on her.
“Triple-Berry, no yogurt, soy,” she said.
Barrett lifted his brows slightly then, raising a finger at the girl behind the register, said, “Make it two.”
“So, tell me, what made you decide to grace me with your presence?” he asked.
“After a workout like that, I deserve a free smoothie, even if I have to share it with you,” said Chloe. “I hurt in places I didn’t even know could hurt. If I ever see that perky little blonde outside of this place I’ll…” She trailed off. Barrett was laughing, perfect teeth gleaming at her.
“So,” he said

QUESTION:
Goal to lose 50 Ibs the right way, am I on the right track?I want to lose 50 pounds at the least, but 60 pounds would be perfect. I few days ago I signed a year contract at Anytime Fitness and for the past two nights I have worked out for an hour. I do one mile on the elliptical machine which burns about 110 calories, then I go to each section and work on my stomach, thighs, and arms. Anyways, I have NEVER had a gym membership before and I really enjoy it! I haven't started dieting yet, I just cut cokes out. I also quit eating dinner late; I eat dinner before I work out. And... I started eating what my mom cooks at home instead of going out to eat with my friends.
I have been down the weight watchers road (works but didn't tone me obviously) and the Adipex diet pill road (which I lost 20 pounds the first month but it destroyed my body)
I signed the contract and am committed because I am 20 and am in no rush to settle down... I just want to look and be my best. I don't want to be on a salad diet or anything like that because from my personal experience... If I focus I end up breaking down and overeating. Food has been too much of a part of my life... to an unhealthy weight obsession... to where now I am at the highest weight I have ever been.
I will be working out for one hour five days a week. Any suggestions? And also, my stomach has never been flat... even when I was at my goal weight but didn't work out... If I keep this up, will I have a flat stomach?
Thanks in Advance!!!
-
ANSWER:
Just work out certain parts of your body on one day, then different on the next, and repeat. Your body will have one day to recover for those parts, but then will be back at it a day later which will give you an overall good workout for the week. And dont forget not to just use a machine untill you cant use it anymore. Go to a different machine, then go back to some of the ones you did once already.

QUESTION:
What kind of exercise should i do/Is this a good diet?
I've been looking into the best way to loose weight.
I'm ~210lbs (scale usually says between 207 and 211), 5'11"I have been doing about 8 miles on an exercise bike on the "weight loss" setting (switches between high and mid-high resistance every 4 min) though recently I've heard that because I'm not fit and that i am a heavy guy, I might not be getting the proper levels of oxygen, and therefore I'm not burning away fat cells. Granted, I my various online sources never really specify at what point you're so fat that you're body doesn't get the proper amount of oxygen. I'm a big guy, but I'm not hugely obese, so I'm not really sure if I'm in the weight/fitness class they are talking about to be at that point, but i suppose i could be. Is this a good exercise for me?
My diet usually consists of something very small for breakfast (toast, string cheese, an egg or two)
a very small lunch of something out of a vending machine at school (i prefer animal crackers because they are nummy and lower (comparatively) in calories)
Dinner is USUALLY 1~2 pieces of frozen chicken breast soaked in buffalo sauce (hot sauce with 1 tbs butter)
I try to throw in some veggies here or there.
I drink either Sunny D (i love me some sunny D), unsweetened home-brewed black tea, or water.I try to exercise every week day (though, i wont lie i miss some days)
Is there anything else key that i should be doing? or is this a pretty good diet/exercise plan?
Thanks for all your help!

Oh and also, could anyone recommend somewhere where i could buy one!Thank you : )
-
ANSWER:
Personally, I find that cross trainers are better, as they give more of a full body workout and burn more calories on average than a rower. They give you a total body workout and they tone your core as well as upper and lower body and they help you to burn fat too. You can buy them of lots of websites, local sports stores and even amazon sells them. Its best to go for a fairly cheap one in the first instance, as although the more expensive ones have lots of fancy features, you will most probably never actually use any of those.
